PRESIDENT

Derek Serra has over 25 years of retail banking experience and leadership in both insured and alternative mortgage lines. His tenure includes significant roles at XMC Mortgage Corporation and RBC, driving national brand growth and market expansion. Derek holds a BA from Trent University and is a Mortgage Broker licensed professional. He is committed to innovation and client satisfaction, playing a key role in Westboro MIC's market leadership.

CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

Chris Dangerfield brings over 20 years of finance and operational leadership, specializing in mid-market distressed debt. His experience includes roles at Callidus Capital Corporation, Alignvest Private Debt Ltd., and Ernst & Young LLP. Chris holds a BA in Economics from Huron University and is a CPA, CA. His strategic financial acumen has been crucial in guiding Westboro MIC's financial strategies and ensuring stability and growth.

VP - INVESTMENT FUND SALES

Scott Roberts has over 20 years of experience in alternative investments. He has held executive positions at investment issuers and dealers. Scott graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce from Carleton University and received his Canadian Securities license in 2007. He is dedicated to expanding investment opportunities and driving growth for Westboro MIC's clients.

MANAGER, INSIDE SALES

Jessica is a seasoned professional with over 5 years of experience in sales within the mortgage lending industry, specializing in coaching brokers and driving success in sales strategies. With a solid understanding of real estate law, particularly in the closing stages, she provides valuable insight and support to ensure smooth and successful transactions. Jessica is a graduate of Brock University with a degree in Communications.

DIRECTOR BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT, EASTERN ONTARIO

Darren Campbell joined Westboro MIC with over 20 years of experience in banking and home equity financing. His expertise in mortgage origination and Eastern Ontario's broker market enhances our business development efforts. Darren holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Saint Mary’s University and has a deep understanding of broker relationships and market dynamics.

DIRECTOR BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT, SOUTHWESTERN ONTARIO

Justin Theriault brings over a decade of experience in retail banking and mortgage lending, specializing in Prime and Alternative space. His achievements include nominations at the Canadian Mortgage Awards for BDM of The Year. Justin holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Carleton University and is a licensed mortgage agent Level 2.

DIRECTOR, UNDERWRITING

Shannon Ferris is a seasoned underwriter with over 20 years of experience in the mortgage industry. Currently serving as the Director of Underwriting, Shannon has developed a deep expertise in risk assessment, financial analysis, and regulatory compliance. With a proven track record of navigating complex loan scenarios and delivering tailored solutions, Shannon is dedicated to upholding high standards of excellence in all aspects of mortgage lending. Shannon is licensed Mortgage Broker and a certification in Financial Services Underwriting.

DIRECTOR, OPERATIONS AND TECHNOLOGY

Rabbia has over 10 years of experience in private lending. With her experience in an operations capacity and  a focus on leveraging technology to drive business growth, she excels at identifying innovative solutions to gain efficiency. Rabbia holds a Bachelor of Business Commerce from University of Ontario Institute of Technology and is a licensed Dealing Representative.
